Nestled within the vibrant heart of Universal CityWalk, The Crêpe Café offers a delightful culinary escape from the hustle and bustle of theme park excitement. Specializing in French-inspired crepes, this charming café stands out as an inviting spot for breakfast, casual dining, or a cozy café experience. Whether you’re seeking a sweet treat or a savory meal, The Crêpe Café expertly balances quality ingredients with comforting flavors in an atmosphere that feels both energizing and relaxed.
The menu is a celebration of crepe craftsmanship. Sweet crepes such as the S’mores Crepe — an indulgent mix of melted chocolate chips, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumble — and the Mixed Fruit Crepe adorned with seasonal fruit and whipped cream, are perfect for those yearning for a light yet luscious dessert. On the savory side, the Crêpe Florentine comes highly recommended, featuring a vibrant union of feta, spinach, cheese, and onion that delivers a fresh, creamy bite with every mouthful. The balance between melted cheese and the slight tang of feta creates a harmonious flavor profile that excites the palate.
Beyond crepes, The Crêpe Café's French fries elevate a simple side dish to a memorable indulgence. Guests can choose from small or large portions accompanied by a variety of unique dipping sauces like Creamy Chipotle, Pesto Mayo, and Jalapeño Ketchup. For a richer experience, fries like the Bacon Cheese Fries — smothered in a velvety cheese sauce and crispy bacon bits — or the playful Funnel Cake Fries, dusted with powdered sugar and served with whipped cream, add a fun and flavorful twist to classic comfort foods. One visitor fondly noted their funnel fries paired with a White Mocha provided a sweet snack after a long day, capturing the café's ability to satisfy a mix of cravings.
The ambiance of The Crêpe Café strikes a lovely balance between casual and inviting. Indoor seating offers a cozy refuge from the crowds, while outdoor tables let you soak up the lively energy of Universal CityWalk. The café's open kitchen setup also provides a unique and engaging experience, allowing you to watch your crepes being expertly prepared through large windows — a spectacle that has drawn both curious passersby and loyal visitors alike.
While some customers have found the pricing a bit on the higher side, with crepes typically around $10 and up, many feel the quality and the convenient location justify the spend, especially when compared to the ubiquitous fast-food options nearby. The Crêpe Café shines best as a refreshing alternative when you want something a little more thoughtful and flavor-packed.
In summary, The Crêpe Café is a wonderful destination for those who appreciate freshly made crepes with varied fillings, alongside thoughtful accompaniments like specialty fries and a selection of dipping sauces. It’s perfect if you’re seeking a break from standard fast-food chains without straying far from the action of Universal Studios. Whether you stop by for a sweet treat, a savory bite, or just a comforting coffee and snack, The Crêpe Café delivers an approachable yet satisfying dining experience that leaves a gentle but lasting impression.
Ok place. Nothing too impressive. Food is ok. Each crepe is like $10+.
What a nice little café especially when you are tired of fast food, I got the crêpe Florentine, which has feta, spinach, cheese, and onion, superb!!! They also have Red Bull, water, soda, icees and French fries with 6 different dipping sauces. Highly recommend! They have indoor and outdoor seating as well.
This lil' Crepe Cafe is conveniently located at CityWalk on the way to Universal Studios across from Hot Topic. It caught our attention as they were prepping the Crepes by the window. After a long day at Universal Studios, we stopped here for a coffee & snack before heading home. I had their Funnel Fries accompanied with a White Mocha, I loved their Funnel Fries but was not a fan of the White Mocha. Inside seating is limited but there are a couple more tables outside. Customer service could be better, I describe it very monotone but the Cafe itself is very convenient with plenty of yummy menu items.
